The High Commission has chalked out elaborate programmes to celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman with due honor and festivity(Mujib Borsho or MUJIB YEAR, 17 March,2020-17 March,2021). As a part of the year-long celebratory programmes, Bangabandhu Corner has been launched near the Guest Area at the Chancery. The area assumed a festive look which is beautifully decorated with Bangabandhu's portraits, banner, posters, balloons, colourful paper-made chains and other glittering materials. Bangabandhu Corner is also equipped with historic pictures and publications, which will enlighten the visitors and interested readers about the philosophy, ideology, sacrifice, and the struggles of the Father of the Nation.
